CoolIt Installed
Another cool <=pun intended
product from the people that make noESP.
My kid was sick today so I got to work remotely from home. That always frees a little time to play... I took a little time about 30 minutes to install the “CoolIt Auto” fan mod.
It's very simple to install and works as advertised.
It tapsthe light switch and if you want to manually over ride you can by:
Fan on low - flip the light switch on/off three times (the horn gives off three subtle beeps).
Fan on high - flip the light switch on/offfour times (the horn gives offfour subtle beeps).
Auto fan (default) - flip the light switch on/offfive times (the horn gives offfive subtle beeps). In auto mode “Coolit Auto” regulates the temperaturebetween 183-188 degrees.
I'm ready for the TX summer now

Whew! That's a lot of flippin'! J/K. Glad it works. I still need to change out my thermostat. I'm a little slow. But, in my defense, let me say that I've been working on my old Plymouth Scamp and the back yard, too. (I'm gettin' too old for this "stuff").

I feel that way also at times, the old body just aint what it use to be
What you doing to Scamp?
It's setup for auto by default so you only have to flip if you want to go off auto, then the long flip to get back to auto. I'm staying in auto just because I'm fliped out

Dave, I have a spare 440 HP motor sitting in a shop -- that would make Scamp into a Super Scamp... LOL

Mango - I got the Scamp about 6 years ago from Phoenix. It's a /6 car. I just took out the little 7 1/4 rearend and put in an 8 1/4 (3.23 gears), re-arced the springs and had an extra leaf and 1/2 put in, new shocks, bushings, etc. in the back end. Now, the old /6 comes out (by the way, I think that's a really neat little motor), and the engine compartment gets ready for the 360 and 999 torq flite. It's only going to put out about 325-350 hp, but it should have a ton of torque. I built it as a "stop light bandit" engine. Going to redo the front suspension bushings before the 360 goes in. At that point, I'll think about selling it. I'm just not sure how far I want to go with it right now. Or, I might go a head and finish it up, i.e., new paint, interior, etc., and keep it for a while, or sell it. So much to do, and I'm so confused about it.

If you go to www.noESP.comthey have the directions there. I posted the short version.
As you can see in the picture noESP utilizes twocircut borads. One with two relays and another with one relay. The one with two relays has two power/accessary posts to hook wires into. There are lots of resistors and stuff (<= best way my non-electrical ability can describe it) on the circut boards [&:]

CoolIt has been working great. I run it in auto so there noflicking my lights on and off. The car stays between 183-187 as advertised. It was a balmy 90 degrees on the way home in stop-n-go traffic and the car hit 188 one time the rest of the time it was between 185 and 187... perfect weather under the hood
