No, the truck is weights more, it would reach terminal volicity faster.
I think you guys are wrong about the truck in the 1/8th. The trucks biggest obstacle would be traction, then its weight.
I can set up a race with my brother next time i visit. I'll let you know. He has an 06 with long tube headers and duel exhaust, the only thing is its a four door and the Ram quad is heavyer than the reg cab.

Traction really isn't an issue with my quad cab. I can launch pretty hard, you just have to know how to drive. I'd love to line up against one of your bone stockers like my ram and have a go.

the charger i drove had 28k miles...i just couldnt believe my truck was that fast...but like mango said...all in all itd be a good race...just the thought that a ram can do comparable numbers to a sports-car to me...is pretty amazing...
i raced my pops grand prix gtp a week after i got it....3.8 supercharged...it was neck and neck...guess my pop couldnt believe i drive that good either...up until about 80 he pulled on me...but his car is far from stock though...
as far as people taking care of their vehicles...yeah i see what you guys are saying with kids and all...but theres a huge scratch that goes...from the back bumper all the way up to the front door...and is rusting...spots on top of the bed...from chipped pain...about an inch wide...rusting...but hey...if you have that money to spend on a car...and treat it like ****...thats your loss...i cant imagine what he got for it...that stuff can get fixed...even as it sits...shes a beautiful truck...and she'll haul *** too...
as for the lighter frame...i dunno...i checked my door...and she weighs around 5600

they all said the owner of the dealership had it before...etc...etc...i spoke with him(cause he wants my truck)...and he was asking me how well chargers respond to mods...and that stock form...they run this at the track...etc...etc...

Which engine is in your Rumble Bee?
I'm not sure if the gearing on the Rumble Bee's are different than a stock 1500 but if they were it might give you the feeling you were doing better.

Was in the same boat...Purchased a 2007 Dodge Ram Hemi In May and every since had problems with the MDS and various other problems, well today I traded that pain in the rear for a 2007 Changer, man what a differance. The power is much better than in the truck and fun to drive.....
