Sorry to hear the issue is back. The bright side is you have probably narrow the scope, they probably need to replace that bearing. Packing it just bought a little noise free time.

Are you guys getting a jingling noise or more of a clunking sound, mine is jngling like loose brake pads it also stops when I apply the brakes. I also have a slight clunking noise over bumps no effect in braking. Two seperate noises, I suspect two seperate problems as well. Neither one major I presume but bothersome none the less.

I tried to check out the front end, but couldn't find my floor jack ( I think my brother-in-law borrowed and never returned it.) I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow ( 8/09) so I'll let you know what happens. The noise is a rattle/light clunking sound, 30 mph and up, with the front wheels straight mainly. I'm thinking sway bar bushings or maybe lower shock bushings. It started 1-2 weeks ago, have 44k miles on the car, only 21 months old.

well mine is in the shop as of early this morning. Yesterday i had to take the mechanic on a field trip so he could hear the noise. On a flat highway with no bumps, no sound, but when we went on a side street with some small bumps, the rattling/clunking noise can back and stayed throughout the whole trip. The look on the technicians face was one of "i have no idea what that is". So i'll let you know what they comeback with as to what the problem is.

just got a call it seems that the rotors have some sort of clips on them and these were loose, which is what was causing the rattling noise.
