Default ESP Bas light lit up while not in motion

This is the second time this happened, first time I was sitting in neutral with car running reading road map the car rolled backwards just a little and lights came on. I shut the car off restarted and all was well, today I was sitting in Drive not moving for a length of time and lights came on again. Any one else have this problem. Each time the car chimed then ESP was totally disabled until I restarted the car, then everything went back to normal.

At the SRT driving experience, we were sliding a Charger around on some wet pavemment. Occasionally it left us rolling backwards in Drive, at which time the engine would turn off. The instructor explained that this was normal, something in the programming. I do not know how that could happen in Neutral, but it was my two cents worth...

You may want to take the car to the dealer, There maybe a stored code for the steering angle sensor.

I also have noesp, which also stored some codes on me, any idea which code I should look for I have an SC tuner and can check them myself. Also if the steering angle sensor thing is screwing up what else is effected or is this it's only function.

You will need the starscan to ck for codes and the steering angle sensor is under the steering wheel and part of the clockspring. Are you still under factory warranty??
