I have after market cat back system and it looks like I have plenty of space between the stock bumper cutouts and the exhaust tips. Do you think I can do it with out taking dwn the pipes?

I put mine on two weeks ago. I didn't have to drop anything. Plenty of clearance to drill out the holes above the pipes. Just drill at a slight angle. the longer the bit, the better. If you have a 6" bit, you're golden. The real challenge is drilling the holes lower and further forward. I had to find a drill with a shorter head and shorter bit. With the rear wheels on the ground you may have trouble with long drill head bodies.

It took less than a half hour to install. I got nylon trim fasteners from AutoZone. Mine have the center screw that expands the fastener as you screw it in. If you use the ones that come with the diffuser you need a pop-rivet type tool. Which isn't so bad until you realize the plastic shanks on the plastic "pop rivets" are too big in diameter to fit in a standard pop-rivet tool. Get the fasteners from AutoZone.
