Default nav not avail for turn by turn ??

Just got a charger with the nav system in it. Whats the deal with the 'not available for turn by turn directions' ?? I can see my street on the map?!? I can follow the lines to get there. Why doesn't it have the directions to the house? Is there a setting in the Nav that I'm missing?

What version of the CD do you have? You have to pop it out to find out.

well there is another question I have...I don't have the manual that came with the nav system. So I don't know how to get the maps DVD out and stupid me...the eject button just doesn't seem to be working here.

It sounds likeyou've pulled the disk cover off and pressed the eject button on the right hand side. Sounds like something amiss with the nav unit.

To eject the Navagation (NAV) DVD:

The NAV bezel is about 3/8 tall and a little wider than theDVD. In the upper left corner is a very small tab, push that tab down and pull the bezel off. It isn't easy to push the tab and pull the bezel off but take your time it will come off.

Once the bezel is off you will see an eject button just to the right of the DVD slot. Press that button to eject the DVD.

What a great site, you ask questions, you get answers. I could only imagine how long it would have taken the dealership to answer that question for me.

no telling how long it would have taken them but that's what these type forums are for, we're here for each other if nothing else to listen (read) what you have to say. Glad the information was good and got you to the next step.
