Cost was $152. The mechanic only had to buy a kit and not the whole drive shaft so luckily I was back on the road right away. This part broke without any warning. Glad I was parked in my driveway and not someplace totally inconvenient like late at night in a store parking lot.

Do you think they will replace the shift lever since it was just worked on 2 months ago?
You can have a look at blmall.com to get some info about chargers. Ah, $409.00...
You might want to spend a little extra money.

Billet makes aluminum ones.

I put less than 5K a year on it now that I have three other vehicles. I was
using it for work, but the fuel was killing me, so I went with a TDI, much
better.

What was irritating was it broke right after replacing the TCM. Took it for
a test ride, parked, then the next day, it broke...

Only reason I new about the metal ones was because I troll around in the SRT Forum site from time to time.

I was told about it too, over at lxforums. Good idea and all, but
as I said, needed to get a fix in right away. A friend of mine was
supposed to come test drive the car, he works on the rivers repairing
locks, all over the country... He has to work 7-days a week all month,
so he can't make it for a while, now...

Default 2007 Charger

Hoping someone here can help me. I’ve already replaced the pink thingie. (Shift interlock). I’m trying to figure out what that cable in the left (drivers side is called). Pretty sure that’s my problem now.

I'm really not that mechanically inclined to answer the question, but I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum Hemi and in 2012 I had to have it towed in because the vehicle would not shift out of park. I called the Chrysler Customer Care helpline and opened up a complaint with them. I don't think they ever made it a recall although there were several hundreds to thousands that had this issue based upon my research. I was able to get assistance through Chrysler on the payment services. It was towed to a dealership. The ticket stated, installed 68091341AA: Shifter Transmission. Found the shifter defective and will need to be replaced. Installed new shifter assembly.

Default 08 charger stuck in park

Called the dealership and was told about a button. I was told to pull the rubber holder out that is to the right of the shifter. The rectangle looking one that you would throw change into or a pen. In there is a button that you can press (a reset so it is called). Push the button, then leave the car alone for 15 minutes without touching, turning on, turning off, or anything!!!! Then the reset will hold. If you mess this up, you will have to push the reset button again the next time you go to drive.

If this does not work, let me know, but also let me know the year and model of yours.
Charger is stuck in park, it starts, everything works just can't get it out of park. It's an x police car so the shift control is in the column can anyone help me with some advice
