Welcome to the forum ROMAN1972.

Are you from Canada?

The reason I ask is the US Chargers do not come with daytime running lights (DRL). The head light switch **** can be taken off and modified to turn another notch counter clockwise which enables it, this also requires you have the light dome sensor in the dash. To turn it off you simply turn the **** to the off positon.

Maybe he is from Rome? I had a second generation 2007 Durango owner ask the same question yesterday. Mine has the auto, on, off, parking light wheel (no DRL). Wonder if he has a Canadian Durango, also,

Could be...

For whatever reason DCX chose not to put DRL on the US Dodge Chargers and on the flip side US Crystler 300's have DLRs.

I believe DRL's are mandatory in Canada but I have no idea about other countries.

Mine has the DRL position on the light switch. I never use it though.

Good thing to check. I know my wife just turns the **** counterclockwise all the way not realizing that the "OFF" position is one click to the right. She doesn't like driving with lights on either.

From all the threads I've read on this you can only turn DRL on/off via starscan. Unless you have a friend with a starscan you will have to find a dealership that can do this for you.

A delalership should charge a flat hourly rate for their starscan and the tech running it and it's shouldn't take over an hour.
