4)and whats the price gonna be about ? just give me a clos price if u dont know?

5)at first i was thinking of the new mustang 2005 blue color tell me what do u think of it ?
A)have you test driven a mustang?
B)have u raced a mustang ?
C) is the mustang powerfull ? or just BS ?

6)i dont know but how do u compare the new 05 mustang and the lumina ss ?

A)whats faster?

7) how do u compare the mustang with other sport cars like the 350 z and rx-7 and the mitsubishi evolution 7 or 8 ?

8)what car do u recommend me to take ?

1 from what i ahve read all charegrs are automatic, but they do have the autostick feature which is liek shiftign with out a clutch.
23 it will be out before teh summer. the just started producing them earleir this month, and they will start showing up in show rooms soon.
4 teh cheapest one is under 23 thousand, the r/t which is the hemi one starts at under 30 thousand, but comes really well equiped for taht price
5 mustangs are garbage. my intrepid with a 2.7l v6 stock can beat the mustangs with a 3.8l v6s. thats somes up all ther engiens comapred to ours. intrpeid is a family sedan, not a sports car, thats just teh sad reality of ford. i may be a little bias, but losign to an intrepid is unexcusable.
6 i cant help you, but test drive a charegr when you fidn them avaible
7 mustang is a piece of ford, and so is the rx7. avoid both. the mitsu evo is in a whoel different class. it is a small car with a turbo i4, the cahregr is a american v8 rwd. the 350z is nice, but not even american, but if i ahd to choose between the mustnag, rx7, evo and 350z, i woudl choose the 350z. i still suggest the charegr though.
8 make the best choose for you, unless it is a msutang. each person lieks different things. im a big cahregr fan, becaus ethey are finally puttign big power in my size and shape of car, so im excited, and thats why i sugesst teh cahrger.

sorry about my typing, my otehr computer is broken, and that oen ahs spell check.

I'm no Mustang guy by any means but you need ojective info if you're deciding which car to buy. The Mustang GT runs similar performance numbers to my Ram SRT-10, 0 to 60 in the low 5s and 1/4 mile in the low 13s. The Charger should run 0 to 60 in the mid to high 5s and 1/4 mile in the high 13s to low 14s. I saw an '06 Charger Daytona run in Las Vegas at the Mopars at the Strip show. It ran 14.9 in the 1/4 mile. Of course, the car wasn't broke in and I don't know how hard the driver was pushing it.

The Mustang is really only good for two passengers unless they happen to be under 4 ft. tall to fit in the small back seat. The Charger gives you a large rear seat and a huge trunk. It all depends on how you're going to use the car, number of passengers, any personal car brand loyalties and, of course, your taste and preference in the appearance of the two cars. The idea that the Mustang is a piece of junk simply because it's a Ford is merely someone's opinion. I prefer Mopar products on the whole but I have to give credit where credit is due and I think Ford hit a homerun with this new Mustang.

If you can wait for it, the Charger SRT-8 will be a real beast and run with EVOs, STis, GTOs, CTS-vs, etc. On the other hand, the Shelby Mustang GT 500 will have 450 hp in 3,500 lbs of car for about the same price as a Charger SRT-8 (maybe a little more) and be available at nearly the same time.

If you go with something else from your list of cars, for all out performance, I suggest the EVO. You might also look at an STi. While the EVO may have a slight edge at the track, IMO the STi is a better street car. With nearly identical performance numbers the STi has more creature comforts, better ride quality and better street manners. The 350Zs are great looking cars but their performance is a little disappointing to me. They'll be lucky to keep up with all 4,000 lbs. of a Charger RT.

Hope this helps but it may have raised more questions.

hmm... well..

i do have some more questions sorry for that but im in need of help

i do love the mustangs look but i dont want a car that looks good and acts bad i need both power and look,i cant take a turbo equipped car due to the weather in here it sux summer is still not here and the temp is 34 degree celcius (spell ? ).......and i dont like to get an automatic trans car while im still young i need a manual trans car something that i can feel its true power while shifting gears. i really loved the charger R/T but a hemi 6.1 V8 monster with auto trans gears ? even if there was that stick to shift it u cant have the taste of power under a stick alone there must be a clutch and real gears to shift.

1) if i added for example some parts in the mustangs motor will it blow up ? because i know a relative who had a supercharger in a stock mustang motor,i dont know whick model though, but after he raced many times and played with it the engine blew up,and i dont want the same to happen to me

2)i like mustang because they are selling parts and suspensions for it to make it drift as same as the silvia or supra or the rx.and my father wont let me get those jap cars because they are damn fast and because they have turbo and also because my dad thinks im crazy like im gonna fly with the car. i need a pure american muscle looking car like the mustang or the charger that can drift and is powerfull with manual trans.

3)about the mustang gt 500 ? is it better than the pure ford mustang or the same ? and is the mustang gt 500 the cobra one or a diffrent one ?

Acdc_mex is right, we don't have a whole lot of answers concerning Mustangs here. I can tell you that when you add the wrong parts to any engine, Dodge, Ford or Chevy, they can "blow up." I can also tell you that I own a 300C and that autostick isn't so bad. You just have to get used to it to make it really perform.

If you want real power, a manual trans and nearly unlimited potential to make more power go with a Ram SRT-10. You're in the same price range, similar or better performance as many of these other cars and you can haul lumber in the bed. If you like drifting, try throttle steering 5,200 lbs. with 500 hp!

Of course, I'm a little biased.

Dude, why does your sig have a pic of 2 GM products out-pacing a DC product if you are on a Dodgeforum?

As for the point of this thread...
The mustang gt 500 is a supercharged car with a standard transmission. It should be a rocket if that's all you are looking for.
The Charger SRT-8 will be a much more practical car, but still darn fast. Think of the future of the car. The aftermarket will catch up, and when it does you can supercharge it, or turbocharge it. Once programmers get it figured out, you should be able to swap in a 6-speed manual. Imagine how unique that would be!
You haven't considered the mother-of-all sleepers. You want lots of power and gear-banging? How about a 6-speed? How about 505 hp and about 525lb-ft? The Dodge Ram SRT-10 might just be your ticket for about the same price as the GT500 and the SRT-8's. It's a hot looking truck with the Viper's V-10. Lot's of aftermarket support for it too.

So, to sum it up... go for the car you like the look of, enjoy sitting in, and that makes you smile. You can always swap to a manual in the future. You can always make a not quite quick enough car quicker.

well... i know its not a fords site but if i asked in a ford forum everyone will just say yes the mustang is the best and all that stuff everyone will be B.S ing me about it so i thought that i would ask here. sorry if im causing problems but if u dont feel like replying then dont.

anyway i talked to my father about the charger he said not a problem about it and yahaay im happy

but there is few last questions ? the charger comes in many options like 5.7 liter motor and hemi 6.1 liter would there be any diffrence on the look ? is the 6.1 hemi motor called the R/T ? is there a big diffrence in price between the 5.7 and the 6.1 ? i just figured out the price of the normal R/T its 29 not bad at all but it is the 5.7 one and there is no 6.1 price so howmuch do u think it will be ?

im sorry really sorry but ive got to get the correct info to my father so that he can help me from now

thanks again

the 5.7l hemi is the r/t. the 6.1l hemi is the SRT8. the R/t starts under 30. im predicting the SRT8 will start just under 40, considering the srt8 magnum which also has the 6.1l hemi starts at 39,995. the srt8 has performnace mods on brakeing, and also suspension, plus it also has more racign oreintated seats, it also has exterior mods such as a functional hood scoop, and bigger wheels. we have pictures and details of both the R/t and teh SRT8 aroudn teh site. just look aroudn a little to see what you think.

Hey everyone...My name is LindaP. I'm a Merketing Representative with the Dodge information Center. I've been on this Forum before. I don't know if any of you remember me but I've been following your discussions. You all have been so helpful with saud alzaabi!! You're all so encouraging, I couldn't have done better myself. Thanks for your Dodge support. If you don't mind however, I do have one other resource to suggest saud alzaabi...Permission to drop in?
