Have the '06 Charger R/T Daytona (Top Banana paint scheme) started production yet?
I called my dealership, they said orders can't be placed yet.

I have my doubts whether that info is correct.

 

i thought the orange ones were in showrooms already...ive seen them at shows and whatnot, but not the yellow ones...sorry

 

As far as color...how close is the "Top Banana"
to the "Solar Yellow" that is used on the Rumble Bee?

 

i dont know..like i said..i have only seen the orange in person...

I know the yellow Daytonas won't be built
until the Go Man Go Daytona run is completed...

I am curious about the shade of yellow that
they are going to use on the "Top Banana"
Daytona.

As much as I want to see these two colors in person, I really can't wait till the 07's ship. I am a sucker for Sub-lime, I am hoping that is on the horizon.

 

Daytona production hasn't started as of 05/05/05. Apparantly 'Plum Crazy' has been a popular request. Maybe we'll see that next year.

 

The new 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T will start production only as the GoMango scheme till they feel that there is enough build. Then they will start production of the Top Banana scheme. The colors (Solar Yellow and Top Banana) are very different. Top Banana is a darker yellow.

Production started 4/4 on the Charger. I've seen several on dealer lots, and more are showing as in stock via the Dodge web site's build and search function. Haven't seen a Charger Daytona R/T yet...
