Default 2008 Dodge Charger shaking with blinking , beeping check engine light

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger that drives fine until the car is driven about 20 miles or until the temp control gauge is straight up between hot and cold on the dash ...then the check engine light begins to blink and beep, the car starts jerking and shaking like it's going to stall but so far it hasn't ...I can continue to drive the car but it does hesitate once I press the accelerator ...I have changed the spark plugs and coils ...I've taken it to auto zone and had them scan the code and they come back with the gas cap ...that is clearly not the issue...any suggestions ???

Sounds like the symptoms of a faulty crank position sensor. It's a relatively inexpensive five minute driveway fix. I would try this first before firing the expensive parts canon.

What code did China Zone's diagnostics read?

You have a misfire. Continuing to drive it like that can result in severe engine damage. Flashing check engine light means a misfire. Did it do this before you changed the plugs and coils?

Have you attempted a compression test? Or check your to make sure the throttle body, plate/blade isn't binding up, check it manually. Do you have EVIC display?

Try running codes youself, and post them here.

Which type of engine do you have? I can search for a TSB based on your symptoms.

Moved all your posts to one thread. No sense having the same discussion in two different threads.
