Default door breaking

hey guys, posting this for a friend. she has a 2010 charger and the drivers door is breaking at the hinge. I tried welding it, and it work for a while, but now its cracking in other spots and some of the cracks are to big to weld. is this a common problem? is there anything dodge will do for it? do I just need to go to a pull apart and get a new door? any help/ideas would be appreciated .

The problem happens when I move the door and the pin is supposed to move to the next space. It kind of pops and then the door goes lower. Forgive me please I don't know the right technical terms.

open the door....lift the outer end of the door up....if you see play in the pin...its worn and a bushing kit is needed. the op was referring to the welded bracket on the body separating from the body...if this is the case a re-enforcement must be welded to the body and the bracket welded to the re-enforcement.

Thanks so much! I've been thinking about this all day. I'll go do what you said right now. Sorry if I jumped on the wrong post with my issue, I didn't mean to. Have had trouble finding anything related to my issue and corresponding to Dodge Charger.
