swap hellcat crate engine into awd charger
wondering if its possible? any thoughts appreciated

Anything is possible. Doubt the AWD drivetrain would hold up.

Friend has a track hawk... That's a different AWD drive line than the charger as far as rear and trans go?

I would say yes or they would offer it in the Charger as well.

You would likely have clearance issues between the engine and drivetrain in the charger as well.
Didn't Dodge offer AWD with the 5.7 at one point though???? I seem to recall something along those lines, but, don't take my word for it.

Yeah up to 2007 I think, but they still make the v8 awd chargers for law enforcement... sticker for 2018 says 5.7 V8 hemi mds vvt
Wanted to swap that out for the hellcat... Apparently a company called armorex makes one...

This got me thinking, so I called them and they said they buy them like this from dodge, and then add the armor plating to them.

New for 2019 though, aren't they?? Of course, that means the parts are out there. I bet they ain't cheap having to buy them new though........
