Cool 2008 2.7 best exhausts.

What would be the best exhausts for my charger? I’m thinking of making it dual exhaust with either a flow master super 40 or super 10. Any recommendations?

The stock one. 2.7 was entirely too small an engine for a 4100+lb car. The V6's sound horrible with duals.

Wasn't the 2.7 pushing close to 300 hp though??? Or was that the 3.7?

3.7 was only in trucks & Jeeps, 210-215hp.
3.5 in the 05-10 LX/LC was 250hp
Newer 3.6 is 292-305hp depending on application
The little 2.7 was just 178hp....in a 4000+lb car

Yep....back in late 05 I rented an 06 Charger because I wanted to drive one....all they had was the 2.7. Terrible. Every 2.7 LX in the local junkyards here has caught fire. Couple years later I rented an 08, it had the 3.5; not great but so much better than the 2.7. 3.5 is moddable at least, Inertia made some interesting ones, 4L strokers with custom cams and boost. Drove a 3.6 in a Challenger; THAT engine you have to get north of 3500rpm to be in the powerband. Really all of the V6's listed have that problem, you have to be well into the powerband to hit the torque peak. Ex-wife had a 3.7 Liberty, terrible engine for a 4x4, not to mention the inherent design flaws that family of engines had.

Friend of mine had a charger with the big six, and it was actually reasonable to drive.... Of course, I have a heavy foot anyway, so, even passing on two-lane roads was not as scary as some other cars I have driven.

Guy on LX forum just sold his 06 or 07 3.5, it had an Inertia 4L stroker with a blower. I'm sure he surprised a few people with it, problem is even as fun as all that is, it only gets you to about stock hemi power. Hemi in that platform is ridiculously easy to modify.
