Dodge ChargerThe Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.
I have an 06 Srt8 Charger and have been hearing a roaring/whining sound coming from the rear of the car. It only does it in a slow turn, and then stops shortly after. Everything points to a bad wheel bearing, (in my own experience), however everyone I've spoke with says maybe the differential...? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Done any work to the rear diff lately? Fluid level good? Proper fluid in there? (likely needs the LSD additive..... and since you hear the noise in corners..... that would be my first guess.)
No recent maintenance done to the differential. Just started hearing it suggested a few days ago, before that I suspected a wheel bearing. Will have it looked at asap. thanks
