Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

Default Power Seat

So, here's the stupidest question you've seen in a while...

I was trying to drive a 2006 Charger that is usually driven by someone much taller than I am, and I needed to scoot the driver seat forward so I could reach the foot pedals. I felt the little lever on the left side of the seat, but I couldn't figure out how to use it to make the seat move. So I consulted the driver's manual, and all it did was say, "Yep, there's the lever," with a crappy drawing and an arrow pointing to it. Well, that didn't help; I already knew where it was. I needed to know how to press or pull on it. It supposedly can make the seat move in 6 directions: up, down, forward, backward, lean back, lean forward. I tried to look it up online, but to no avail.

Can someone tell me how to move the lever/button specifically to scoot the seat forward? (I assume the car has to be running for it to work.)

Definitely not the dumbest question I've seen, recently or in a while lol. The combo switch is shaped like the seat itself. You have to push the bottom portion literally straight forward to do what you want.

Its actually a reasonably intelligent design for seat controls. You grab the section of the switch that coresponds to the part of the seat you wanna move, and move it in the direction you want it to go.
