Default dodge charger replacing tire size

hi dears,
need ur help .. i have dodge charger v6 SE am planning to change my tire size from the original size ( 235/55R18 ) to ( 245/50R18 )

Need ur advise please

just i want to ask if someone try it and if there is effect on the car like vibration, check engine or anything alse am thinking to buy Michelin PS4 tires,
and do u advise me to buy K&N filter or just stick with the original

Keep the same tire height. That's what throws things off. A 245/55 would be close enough in diameter (if available). Otherwise if you have a proper tire balance performed then you shouldn't get any vibration.

yes but there is no 245/55R18 tires not available, i want proformance tire which is the close only is 245/50R18

If they are properly balanced, they will not cause vibrations nor cause a check engine light. Only thing it will affect is speedometer if you go to a different size. K&N drop in is a good investment. Just realize it needs to be cleaned periodically as opposed to a paper filter.
