Default ECU mileage reading is higher than dashboard odometer reading.

I recently bought a 2017 daytona from a dealership. I bought carfax, autocheck, and epicvin reports and they all had the same info and mileage that aligned with the dashboard odometer reading at 67ish thousand miles. 4 days later the check engine light comes on my personal mechanic connected his high dollar high tech diagnostic tool to the ecu and it came up 89000 miles. At this point I don't know what to think. I'm afraid this will void out my warranty. What are my options? Any thoughts?

Have a chat with the dealer you bought it from, and talk to them about it NOW. Don't wait until you actually NEED that warranty....
