new ram air hood
hello everyone. im a new member of this forum and i have done a lot of reading but this is my first post. i just bought my rt 2 weeks ago and im in love. i bought the car used with 3000 miles on it. it had the sun roof leather stering wheel controls, everthing but the nav. and i bought it for 25,800 from the dealer. was that a good deal? anyway i have been looking around for a ram air hood for a while. i found this one but it says its a fiberglass hood. whats the down side of fiberglass than that of the "iso resin" (i think thats what its called). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RAM-A...QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RAM-AIR-FIBERGLASS-HOOD-05-06-DODGE-CHARGER_W0QQitemZ180006273623QQihZ008QQcategoryZ33 646QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
yeah i want it to but it scares me that its so much cheaper than the other ones i have seen. with shipping its $550 or so. and to have it painted i guess your looking around a total of $750 to $800.
Welcome KC Hemi, I guess your from Kansas.
Anyhew, nothing wrong w/fiberglass hoods in my book. I've got one, check out the pics.
Your right on the price once you fit and paint it will get up to 800 on the upper side.

Yea, hood pins would be the icing on the hood cake! That would take it back a few years, in style, way to cool.
I bet the two front could be attached to the top radiator brace, but not sure about the other two... need to go look at the engine compartment and ponder it. Hum......
