Magnaflow drone
Chasb,
The OD delete is understood. I used to use 5th gear to keep the MDS from coming on. But I finally changed the exhuast so I didn't have the hassle. In my case, the DRONE was sooo bad, the radio, even opening the windows didn't help.
I have a Daytona, and moderator Dave has a R/T model. The exhuast is different between them, but pretty close.
Thanks for the input.

Well, I knew I'd get hammered as soon as I posted this, but it's OK
.
I know what the "X" pipe does (or simply "H" pipe). I just wondered if the equalization is what's causing the drone. But someone MUCH smarter than I will have to figure it out.
mnboy - now this is getting scarry! I too, used to ride motorcycles, and I usually drive with the radio off to hear the motor/exhaust, etc. This is getting waaaaaay to much!

I have the drone too and It is a little louder but it is not vibrating the car at all. Sure I wish it were quieter but how else can you get a throatier sound with out tearing out the suit case and resonators?
I left the stock exhaust pipe so maybe its a magnaflow thing.

Dave, yeah, this is getting scary. I am adopted, and my father is from Colorado... I wonder if he made any trips to New Mexico in the 50's "brother"... LOL.
I'm sure there are pletny of motorcycle guys who listen to their bikes too... after all, in the 60's and 70's while riding in the rain, wet radios didn't work very well... LOL.
