Default Well, I'm stacked and keyed!

I finally gave in and stacked the JET Stage II with the SC Tuner. Results: My gas mileage went back up - it had dropped with just the SC or in stock mode. It has great low-end hit, and hits really hard on top in first and second gear. Seems to me to be both much smoother and stronger.

Also, my trunk lid got keyed last Friday night. I don't know what's wrong with people. I waited my whole life to be able to get something like this and now some dumb a$$ kids, or who knows, comes along and keys it![:@] They did my poor little Saturn daily driver, too! It will have to stay that way for a while, though. $573 to get it fixed. They will paint the whole trunk lid and upper part of quarter panels/fenders, and blend that in. REally stinks! But, THAT'S JUST MHO!

Yeah! And I'm not ashamed to say I almost cried! It's just a shame what some people will do.

I too had somebody the other nite pry my key hole on driver side (one and only other than trunk) and scratch the paint!!! Dealer is fixn next week! Bowl$hit!!!! Anyway, after driving around with the stacked units I have noticed a much better performance. I also have noticed that the beast seems to run better if you use Auto Stick. Drone has settled down too!!! Can't tell much of a difference with ESP off. Maybe SC overides it a bit??!! Well I love this car!! Im glad I got divorced- This was my divorce gift to myself!!!! I am also taking the door moldings off Friday!! YEEEE HAAAA

Dave,

Stacker!

Sounds like you guys have the answer! Now if someone would post some track times to see what is really going on...

Did you ever get your car right with the suspension?

Sorry to hear about being keyed. I am lucky since I keep mine in a locked garage at night. I learned from my GTX that you have to keep them carefully parked. It's hateful...

I should do that, huh? If I could just find a stretch of road that would let me do that; even the freeway is always busy. But I AM looking . If it would just stop raining for a while . Just seat-of-the-pants feel, it feels stronger from just off idle on up. Much, much smoother power delivery than just the SC or JET chip alone. Almost like an electric motor - just keeps pulling and pulling. But, I agree with all, time slips are the only way to be sure.

The "scratch" will have to wait a while. Just don't have the money for it right now.

The suspension is, I guess, liveable for now. I'm somewhat intrigued with an earlier post that said a long term road test by Motor Trend or Car and Driver, or some other mag, showed up with the same symptoms I have with the shaking and it turned out to be bad bushings in the sway bar.
