Yes, you boys are right. The Charger is heavy. However, in it's CLASS, it is a contender -- I think the Chevy Monte Carlo SS is slower, as well as other heavy two or four doors cars emulating the past. Certainly, not a 9, 10 or 11 second car without massive running gear changes, and an engine build up, like you said.
But for a cruiser, a patrol car, or all around decent runner, it's dead on.
Just my two cents.

Another project running behind schedule. I believe the 6.1 426 stroker is going to hit the road this weekend. I read that with the hardened internals it will take 250hp of nitrous with ease. Hide-n-see.
I just dont know.............. for 7 grand GS / will install thier super charger and give you 125 more pomies under the hood and stand behind it for a year. or for 5200 you could wrench it your self in 8 hours....................

I WAS READING THE 6.1 HEAD/INTAKE SWAP TO THE 5.7. IT LOOKS LIKE THE DYNO SHEET READS 360-370RWHP.BUT IT DOESNT STATE IF ITS THE MDS VERSION OR NOT I MAY HAFTA FIND OUT MORE ON THAT ONE
