thanks for the insie. the srt comes with the lowering springs, and in another post on the v8 page some one did say the *** end was up in the air......................
while at the stealer today i went to the parts dept. A new cat back from dodge AKA borla my dealer said is 1200 to buy 1 hour install time.. he told ne dodge never listed a replacement exhaust system for a daytona it a one shot deal if you reck it you need the new replacement. AKA road and track , or it you want the real growl you need this new system. is 1200 alot for a cat back. and he said if I use anything other than MOPAR they will void my warente. because dodge is claiming new pipes tells hal somthing different so they will claim epa... you over heat ect..... because hal is telling the car to work harder. thats is my stealer in eatentown nj.On the other note first night almost flotated some valves hot rodding thank god for hal.My and the wife went for a ride and a new putang pulled next to us and the wife said you paid this much for this toy what does it have. well I dropedit in first (SOME ON HAD TO SHOOT THAT PONY) because it lost the race. but my question after boaring you guys , I LEFT IN IN FIRST AND FORGOT HAL TOOK OVER AND AS I MASHED DOWN IT SHIFTED FOR ME AT 5500 RPM. I REALIZED AND GOT SCARED WHEN IT WAS ABOUT TO HIT 100 AND WAS HAL BLINK AND PLACE HE IN 5. IS THIS NORMAL OR DO I OWE HAL A DRINK

I know they're not the cheapest, but I've never had a problem with this retailer for anything I've gotten from them (and the price is still WAY cheaper than your dealer). Free shipping,......... of course, you have to do the installation yourself (or pay to have someone else do it for you).

Congrats on your purchase, BTW! We wanted the Road & Track package on our Charger R/T, but couldn't find one in the right color anywhere within 200 miles, so we got the closest thing we could find. We'd have gotten a Daytona, but they didn't come in black.

BB3796of4000 is right, can't lower unless you loose the self leveling Nivomats.

Congratulations

Lessee, that makes 3 Midnight Blues with R/T handling package. Any more out there?

I got my Borla 112's from ajusa.com for $791 no tax and free shipping. Cost me about $100 to have them installed. Same exhaust as Dodge sells. Best $800 you can put in the car.

Personnally I wouldn't mess with the suspension. Handles and rides great. Any stiffer and you'll start rattling your fillings. Live with it for a while before you decide.

I was at Ft Monmouth '71-'72. Heard there were a lot of changes when they moved the Signal school to Ft Gordon in the late 70's.

Enjoy your new ride and welcome to the family.
