Well, my best friend just bought a srt-10 ram quad cab automatic, it has 4200 miles on her. He wants to race me i have all the normal mods. What do u guys think of this, will i win or will he. I really dont wanna get my *** handed to me but, it is all about braggin rights??? HELP

 

Those trucks push 510 HP I think you are out powered by a few horses.

Try tack welding on 2 ACME rockets , might even out the score. ha!

yeah that truc, weighs alot more i was on another site and th daytona beat the srt10 by 1 second on the tracks

 

I ran up on a SRT-10, standard cab not a quad, the other day going to work at an odd time. He punched her once to show me what it had, he was egging me on to run him. I just laughed and gave him a thumbs up on the ride and got one back.

Once you get heads/headers/cam you might have a SRT8 killer, don't know about the SRT10 though.

Well the QC's are low 14second truck maybe high 13's if the track is good. If you have atleast a superchip, and exhaust it will be a neck and neck race.

 

i believe the automatics in the srt10s are 4 speeds(ive heard theyre turds) and with the weight of the truck and your car with some minor mods i believe will at least hang with it.

 

I did a little reading in the SRT10 Section. Evidently a stock SRT10s is a dog running the quarter mile. Don't go topend with him, keep it to a quarter mile and blow his doors off mapson02. Your best friend will be disappointed... very disappointed

ohhh i'm gonna try my hardest. HE has been talking soo much smack all in good taste. but he is very nervous soo i will be on my toes. i just hope i win. what are some of the things that you guys read about the srt10 being dogs in the 1/4 mile???

 

I have seen 1 quad cab srt10 run at our local track. 1200 miles and (supposedly)bone stock it ran 13.9 I did a little seaching on the net. I have found 13.6-14.2 times in stock form. It would be close, but if he can drive it may be 1 sided. He is 800lbs heavier but another 150hp and with the torque hitting 535 it has the azz to move 5100lbs. Let us know how you do. That race needs to be on video.
