Default bit the bullet today

This afternoon my stealer made me an officer I could not refused. I bought my RT with the Road and track package in midnight blue for 29,000. Yes the daytona had decals, and extra goodies but 7 grand in my pocket is better. After test driveing the daytona last night even though they both are sold with proformance exhause. The daytona has a growl to it. and that extra noise makes the car
sound stronger. I guess after being a GM man its now mopar or bust

That car sounds really nice! Congrats on your purchase! I was a GM man to but these Dodge cars are really something for the money.

Start modding it. I would start with the hood struts, damn car came w/ none! ha! Best $75 you will spend.

Then tear off the molding spears!(by hand, its that easy)

Well congrats BOBLOM, you'll like the car.

The R/T was a good choice. The Daytona extras (decals, seats...) are nice but with normal mods you'll get the HP up there in no time at all.

Welcome to the family!

Well guys my RT came with out the side spears, Why I dont know, its mid night blue and the daytona exhause has more of a growl to it.When looking at the billl sheet the charger rt does say proformance exhaust.but the daytona is listed with an extra list proformance exhaust note. the road and track package gives you everything as far as upgraded tires wheels suspension seats ect...
but no grawl.
Just like my hog I feel like a kid in a candy store and dont know what to buy.Anybody buy the lowering kit F/R springs..... are the hard to install and will they work with the rear load leveling shocks.
do the air spacer and cone head air cleaner make a difference,, or does it give you just the sound of a quadrajet card with the air cleaner lid fliped upside down.

iVE SEEN PICTURES OF THE mopar lowering springs on an 06 charger looks good but it looks like itll be easy to scrape[:@]

If you want to make it a lil louder then get some headers a exauhst. Youll free up some good HP.Theres alot of info on it here

Boblom,

Congratulations!

I have a Mango Daytona and sold my muscle car to get it and haven't regretted it for one second.

Have fun!

I am no expert here but you cant lower the Daytona due to the load leveling shocks? The rear wont go unless you remove the shocks?

Am i wrong??
