Ed hamburger is a famous mopar small block drag racer from the 70's. his clame was the 340 duster pro stock , he allways ran against grumpy genkins with the v8 vegas and mondz's. I have not run bracket raceing since the 80's. but I beleive his work contues. I live in NJ untill jan when I transplant to vegas. I'll stop by the local speed shop to find out more info

the v 8 in the vega was a 327 / 350 . I use to work in a speed shop in old bridge by race way park. doug thorley sold the kit. or if you went to a bone yard all stock chevy parts worked. the fan shroud was allready punched out from the factory and shoe box nova parts fit. you needed the reverse oil pan dip stick and the rest of the novas parts. the power glide fit real nice or you took a hammer to the firewall for the turbo 350 trans. The nova rear was a little wide so you ran deep reverse mags and tuned up the back wheel wells. boy that brings back old times
