Newbie Charger Daytona Owner
Hi Everyone - Newbie Alert!
Just movedover to the US (from The UK) and picked up a Dodge Charger Daytona RT - absolutely loving it and now almost getting used to all the looks and the comments it attracts.
Look foward to reading all the posts andtopicsabout the charger and getting involved in any track days or meets that might be available (esp. in the Atlanta area).
Have a great Christmas everyone.

Indeed - given the current exchange rate, gas is more like $8.40 per gallon (of which 85% is govt tax)
I thought there was a problem with my fuel guage when I first got the Charger - how can it only cost $30 - $35 to fill up a 5.7LHemi when it cost me well over $95 to do the same in the UK (that was onlya 2.2L)
The problem is that public transport is rubbish everywhere in the UK (except in London) - expensive, dirty and slow so we have to use the car and suffer the cost of gas.
Don't get me started on all the other over priced items in the UK (cigarettes= $9.50 a packet!!)
So I have 3 years to make the most ofthe cheap living over here - so far so good!
(although just had my first fender bender - someone decided to back out of a parking spot without looking and drove right back into the side of my car - it was an Avalanche and he admitted he can't see anything out the back of it - not much damage but now the inconvenience of getting it down to a shop to be fixed)!
