Just out of curiosity, has the temperature gone below freezing where you are? Here in the Northeast, the temps have started todrop tofreezing or just belowat night. When I go to work at 8 pm it's above freezing and the low pressure light is off. When I leave workat 4 am to come home it's freezing or below and the light is on.Once I'm on the highway for a few miles it seems the tireswarm up and expand and the light goes out. The same thing happens with our Chevy Impotent (ooops I mean Impala) patrol cars that are equipped with a tire sensor system when they are out of rotation for a shift. The whole heat expands/cold contracts thing.

Also, if your at a high altitude, that will affect it also. Higher altitude translates into having to pump them up a bit (29-30). At least, that's what my dealer said. However, I've changed tires (Goodyear's Assurance) and they don't seem to be affected as much. At least the light doesn't come on at 28lbs, and I'm at a mile high and it's been unusually cold this year.

Hope this helps.

Off subject, sorry.... What's the weather like there Dave? I'm going to Boulder late next week and would like to know, first hand, what to expect.

The weather has been cold. We had another small snow storm blow through yesterday - nothing like what we had just before the beginning of the year. Could get more tonight, but my guess is probably not. If we do, it will probably be very light. I think the high temps this week are supposed to be low to mid 30s.

Now, Boulder could be a different story. Are you driving or flying?

I was always told 32 pounds pressure was average. I've had my car the same amount of time but no light as of yet.
