Default THE NEW SPRINGS ARE IN!!!!

And I have just one word to describe them - AMAZING!!! If I had not experienced it, I wouldn't have believed it. I must admit that I was having some second thoughts after starting this project, but not any more. The car feels much more balanced, better control, and, even though it is a firmer ride, somehow it feels smoother. The biggest thing I've noticed so far is that all the little bumps and expansion joints that I could feel through the steering wheel, well, I don't feel them any more. It's like the tires are now doing their job of soaking up the little bumps. I can tell more now that the damping is way off on the struts and shocks. But still, it is much better than it was before. I've taken some preliminary measurements and have come up with the front being lower by about 1.5 inches and the rear about an inch. But, I want to measure it again at the same spot on my drive way, and after the tires have cooled down to get an accurate measurement. It does appear that the height is also better balanced all around, i.e., both fronts are the same and both rears are the same - they weren't before. I am very happy, and am going to look into their new damping units when they become available - sometime around the time of the SEMA show this year. Any questions? Ask away and I'll do my best to answer.

Is that the only suspension mod you have done? How much was it?

Yes, that's the only thing I've done - so far. It was $328.

Yeah. The fronts have been on for a while, so hopefully they've settled as far as they are going to. The rears settled a little bit from when they were first put on, but they've only been on for about 2 days now. The car is soooooo much more "settled" than it was before. Best $300 I've spent in a long time. I have to check for SC updates and re-tune cause it seems like it's lost the tune I had on it. Not sure if the battery was disconnected for the install or not, but it's definitely lost the tune.

Good news and glad your happy with the springs.

Normlly you can can if the battery was disconnected becuase the sound system is off but this will vary depending on the stero/sound system.

You need to take that thing on a road trip and tell us how it does. Better yet why don't you come to Arkansas and let me take it for a test drive
I'll have plenty of cold beer[:-]

I'm in Conway which is about 40-50 miles north of Hot springs but its like a 70 mile drive because of the hills. I am planning to go to the big race at Mark Martins track in Batesville if you want to go. I think it's his anual 100k to win 100 lap race that always brings out the big names including several cup drivers.
