Hello All,
I apologize for the silly question. But I am having problems locating the filler plug on my 57 D100 pickup.
Since I have no idea when the last time the differential fluid was changed, I wanted to drain the old fluid and put in some new fluid. My problem is that I am not seeing a filler plug. I know it has to be there.
When I am facing the back of the rear axle, I can see the little vent on the upper left portion of the axle. I am wondering if gook is hiding things from my sight.
I will get back under the truck tomorrow with a huge flashlight to see what I can find. In the meantime, if anyone knows where the plug is actually located, please share.
Eddie

Passenger side of the pig, in front of the axle tube. Should just be a pipe plug. More'n likely it's cleverly concealed by years of dirt buildup.
