Default Power Steering

Hello! Perhaps someone can help me! I am from Austria and overhaul my Power steering gear from my B300,Bj 79. So, now my question: in the housing head is an Reaction Seal and i don't know exactly, how to mount it! Closed side up, or open side up?

I send some pictures! MG S Gräf

The open side should be facing the pressure. No idea which way that would be though....

Look up a breakdown of the steering gear in your vehicle, You may be able to tell from that.
