Default Speedometer does not function any more

Hello,

I have a Dokota 1999, 3.9. This morning,the light “ABS” and the light of brake hand lit. Moreover, the speedometer stopped functioning. All that at the same time. Somebody has to you it an idea of the problem and solution which goes with.

Check the conections on the cluster. If they are getting a good connection it could be a bad cluster or a speed sensor.

Unfortunately it is not the speed sensor of the transmission nor the connection. I have to check wire and I have to install new a speedsensor and the problem is always. Do you have another idea? [/align][/align]Thanks for your help.[/align]

You could have a broken wire going to the speed sensor. I see it all the time with neons.

I found the problem, I believed that the defective speed sensor was on the tranny. it is not the case, the speedometer takes its signal on ABS sensor on the différenciel, it was him which was deffectueux. [/align]
