Default Removing Cat.

So my cat is starting to go, it began making a really gross noise, so I am debating whether to replace or remove. Warranty is no issue. Cost is somewhat. I just want to know can I remove it and still have my truck run fine.It is a 2000 Dakota 4.7L 4x4.There isanO2 sensor on either side of the cat. CanI remove it without having the check engine lightalways on or poorrunning? Anyhelp or suggestions greatly appreciated

if there is a way, that O2 sensor after the cat will make it VERY difficult. Put ona flowmaster high flow cat converter and call it good. If the cat is bad you may need new O2 sensors anyways.

Either zip-tie them to the frame or go buy some o2 simms. The zip-tie thing is hit or miss, some guys trucks accept this, others still throw a code.
