My truck's info...

This is what my truck looked like when I bought it Jan. '08:

And here is what my truck looks like now (the only thing missing off of it here is the fender flares that can be seen in my signature picture)...

All the work done to it, both body and mechanical was done by me (including the paint job). Here is a list of some of the mods...

46rh automatic to NV3500 manual transmission swap
Chrysler 8.25 open to Chrysler 9.25" LSD rear axle swap
2 inch body lift
Cranked Torsion Bars
Removed Swaybar
2nd Gen 16"x8" wheels with 31.5"x10.5" Goodyear Wrangler Silentarmor AT Tires.
Bushwacker "Extend-a-fender" fender flares
Mopar Performance Computer
Pacesetter shorty headers with no cat and Flowmaster 40 single exit exhaust
Electric radiator fan
Herculiner DIY paint on bedliner
5% rear window tint and 2.5% quarter glass tint
Pioneer Head unit with polk audio speakers, MA Audio 12" 400 watt sub

Here are some "just for fun" pictures...

The truck flexing out (same set of pics that was used in my signature picture)...

DSCN0182.jpg?t=1249871500

DSCN0184.jpg?t=1249871542

Here are some pics of me burning out the old set of tires when I got the new ones:

Trail riding (the angle is bad in this picture... its hard to tell, but the truck is really sitting on a steep incline and I'm below it):

my vote is in!

95_318SLT you've done a lot of nice work on your truck, I must admit.
You and varis should be head to head in this poll.
No offense to frenchy, but these trucks have been built and had a lot of sweat and tears put into them.

I agree! My vote is in. Good luck to all.

Is there anyway to cheat for someone. Darn I shouldn't of said that out loud. JK

It was a split for me between 98 and Varsis. Both are sick trucks and like Bond said, alot of blood sweat and tears. I'm all about performance machines.

Remove this bolt, and add this bolt, is cool, but when it boils down to solid axle swaps, swapping motors, that is a project, and these two projects were completed with success. I searched for varis on dakota-durango.com (where I "Used" to frequent), he has been a member for 3 years with 51 posts. I am finding this forum quite interesting, yet the layout is really holding this forum back.

Thank you 95_318 for your information and pictures. Perhaps if either of the others wish to gain more votes they should do the same.

When is this voting poll going to end?

When I first got it...

On traveling chassis dyno...

I got 197hp, and 263tq...

One of the cleanest engines I've ever seen...

I painted the interior of the grille black...

Only thing I've had done to my truck, that I didn't do... body shop painted the rear tailgate and around the lights...

As for the mods...

K&N 63 serires intake filter system
Dual thrush turbo mufflers
electric fan conversion
ported throttle body
power wire and iat relocate
tinted windows, front doors 20% rear three .0085%
massive subwoofer enclosure (in the works, for two years... haha)
Amercian Racing Cartel Black in 20x8 with General Grabber UHP at 275/45/20

Future mods

Roll pan
206 cams
full 2.25" true dual exhaust
Possible custom turbo setup

I know I'm missing some stuff...

FWiW, Varis' truck is amazing...

If I had a 2nd gen, I'd be all over doing what he did...
