I'll go with the 4.7 motor. I have an '06 Dakota with that and a 5 speed auto tranny and 3.92's and it goes!!

actually, you CAN get cams, heads and intakes for the 4.7. and theres an adapter available to put any ford modular engine supercharger on the 4.7. That means you can get the Whipple supercharger on a 4.7. The 4.7 is starting to build its own aftermaket
