Dodge Dakota The tough, mid size pickup, the Dodge Dakota. The Dodge Dakota has everything the big boys do with a mid size truck price.

So what did you pay for you Dakota?

I paid $1500 for my 2001 Dakota a few years back with a blown 3.9. I put the engine in with my father in 5 and a half hours. I sold it though, because my friend was trading in his 2003 Silverado and I snagged it for 6k.

March 2010 I purchased:
-2008 Dakota
-4x4
-Crew/Quad Cab
-4.7 V8
-12,500 miles
-$20,500
-1 owner (dodge mechanic)

So, it was in good hands before I got it.

got my 03 in november 2010 for $8400 with 142k on it. it's got every option except the overhead console came with a toolbox, spray on bed liner and some type of aftermarket exhaust. it's a 4.7 auto 4x4. who wants to buy it?

got my 97 in may 2011 with 233k on it and every available option for that year including keyless entry. paid $900 for it and drove it home.

First post here and my first ever Dodge Truck in 20 yrs of driving (I have owned 3 F-150's).

I just purchased a 2007 SLT Dakota 4x2 Quadcab with the 4.7L, only 52,000 miles and a brand new set of Yokohama tires in immaculate condition for $14,600 with a 6000 mile warranty. When I saw the truck I knew I had to have it.
I am really digging this truck. Now I need to look for a tonneau cover.

I have attached a pic.

I just bought a 2000 Dakota SLT quad cab 4.7 to go with my 2000 Durango SLT+ 4.7. I paid more than I wanted @ $8,500 but it was a one owner and has only 21,000 original miles! It's loaded and looks brand new inside and out. Came with a great matching shell that I've since stored in my garage. I couldn't pass it up once I ran the vin number and everything checked out with it. I was looking for a '03 or '04 but with only 21,000 , it looks and drives like its new. My Durango I bought new and has 108,000 miles and it runs great, I plan on doing some of the same things to the Dakota that I did with my Durango. Here's my Durango: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...urango-21.html

I paid 1000 for my 1992 dakota 3.9 4x4 5 speed...bought it from an army guy that had bought a brand new truck with literally all the bells and whistles.

Anyways, it had 218k when i got it. After 2 winters, a "new" motor, four shocks, a posi rear end and a few other things later it now has over 233k on it and more things are dieing as i drive it farther but thats the same with any vehicle you buy. lol
