This is for the people who have the 4.7l Dakota. What is it that you like about this engine?
Me, I love the throttle repsonse, I've really noticed that it loves to put out lots of power in the high rpm.

Better fuel economy in my QC than a co-workers 3.9 Club cab.

 

What I like about it is....

6-speed stick shift. ;-)

Yes I will agree the manual tranny (I wont get caught saying I like the stick....wait....I just said it...anyway...) The manual is much better, even though sometimes its a pain and there are a few times Ive wanted an auto.

 

what i like about my 4.7 is the cam kit that is installed in it. and every hemi i pull up against cant beleive its a 4.7 when i walk away from them. unless its a hemi cuda

 

I, too, love my manual tranny....only time I hate it is when I'm stuck in traffic...then it suuucks. The engine certainly feels really responsive, too, when you're driving with the manual...I always thought the auto made it feel a bit weak.
