2.5l running lean...
got a 90 daytona 2.5L
had head gasket done last fall... drove it for a month or two, then was parked. It has sat for just over a year, and it had been started and moved around a couple times throughout the summer. Went and fired it up a couple weeks ago( started like a champ btw
) but now it is running lean and im not sure why. i changed the fuel filter and have a fresh tank of fuel in it... seems as if it is getting to much air ???
any ideas?

i had a quick look before it got dark and did not see it off hand....but how do i tell if its bad or not?
and how would that be affecting it? the car i think is running lean...if to hard on the accelerator it boggs real bad and has no power like its not getting enough fuel...but its still using fuel if not more than before so that why i thought it was getting to much air.
if the fuel regulator was bad would it not run rich?

do you have an air/fuel gauge? Or even a multimeter to see what the o2 is seening? The fuel pressure reg on my shelby went out, and it was letting air in and running lean. I unhooked the vac line to it, and it got better.
im feeling real dumb here.. are you sure my daytona has a fuel rail...two fuel lines come up the firwall and straight into the throttle body/carb whatever its called....
