Dodge DaytonaThe G platform cars that are to this day, fun sporty machines that car modding enthusiasts love to get their hands on, the Dodge Daytona and Chrysler Laser.
i take it, it is not a mass air flow sensor in there then. somebody i know came across some money and all i nedd to do is ask if they will barrow me some money so i can get my car together. if i get it on monday i could have it ready bythe next following weekend.then i will take some pic and show you what it actualy look likes. i would now but it is all dirty and looks really bad. and i was to antzy to wait and get pics before i ripped it all apart[sm=smiley15.gif]. so no before and after pic oh well before doesn't really matter though now does it.
I am 16 and me and my dad just bought me a 1989 Red Dodge Daytona. I have been looking for stuff to modify it with so if anyone knows some stuff please help.
I have a red 93 Daytona Iroc with a 3.0 and a 132000 miles on it. I recently fixed the annoying oil leak problem that the 3.0 has and slapped a fresh coat of red paint on it several months ago. I purchased mine brand new from the dealer back in December of 1992. I get strange looks from teenagers who try to tell me that the Daytona is just not THE CAR TO HAVE!! They tell me Hondas are the REAL DEAL but somehow I believe that the Daytona will out live the Honda nightmare. If anyone attends the NASCAR races at Talladega let me know if the red Daytona is still in the car museum at the track.

but somehow I believe that the Daytona will out live the Honda nightmare.
My '88 Shelby Z is still a daily driver, not for me anymore, and it has well over 250,000+ miles on it. It reached far beyond 200,000+ hard miles before the engine needed rebuilt due to a wrist pin clip that had broke. I also know of a '73 Plymouth station wagon with a big block 400 that had well over 400,000+ original miles on the original motor, it has since gone to the junkyard, but not from the engine failing, it was from the body and frame rusting away from it. Lets see a Honduh last that long.[sm=smiley2.gif]
1987 Daytona Shelby Z here, saved it before the crusher got it, 3 more days and it would have been TOAST. Restoration is coming along good. Gonna make a great car for my son next year!
