How mnay daytona owners here?? ROLL CALL!!
All I have ever done to my new Daytona is ripped out ALL the audio with new ones and am waiting for the new rails to be finished to install my 1 new racing seats (Sparco knocks)

Anyone know how much hp the stock internals can handle on the 87 shelby z t2? and what is the max boost that can be created with the stock turbo?
I haven't had a chance to modify the dash in mine yet but i have gone through it and remove all the stuff that makes the inter quieter and other misc stuff that was not needed. after a get it running again to remove the stock boost gauge and put a after maket one and probaly a fuel air mix gauge as well. the inter. of the 90's is alot different though.

I like sparco, however I also like Vracing seats they're about $340 USD each and supposedly fit perfectly with no modification.

I'll run some injector cleaner in the next tank of gas and see what happens. Its supposed to be done at the glass co. today it had to get a new windshield. Any body know where a guy could find a good deal on a electronic speed sensor for a daytona? mine is no good. [8D]
The stock Turbo II internals being full floating and all should be able to handle 350+ horsepower, possibly up to 500 horsepower. I have known of at least one that put out around 35 psi boost from a stock turbo.

i guess i don't need to buy an upgraded turbo cuz i only want to push like around 20 psi and make from 250 to 300hp. that would be plenty for me around here.
you wouldn't happen to have a diagram of the a/c for this would you. i would like to take it out cuz i don't use it and it is in the way for what i'd like to do.

cool, i just want to make sure that i didn't loose the heater though cuz i still need that, could i cut the 2 lines that go into the car and remove everything forward from there would that still work and would i need to cap them off ?

You can unbolt and remove everything from the firewall forward very easily and with no ill effects. On the other side of the firewall inside the car, I never messed with.
