Default daytona has problems

I just picked up a 1987 daytona, shelby Z with the 2.2 turbo. I'm kinda new to the turbo and 4 cyl. engines. Here is my problem...........all 4 cylndrs are getting fire, its got gas in it and the fuel pump will pressure up the fuel rail really good. It'll start with starting fluid but will not start or run without it. Not sure how much pressure it has, but if you press down on the stem on the fuel rail where you put the pressure gauge it'll shoot gas up almost 2 feet, so I guess pressure isn't a here????????

Did you check to see if the fuel injector wiring harness is plugged in to the main harness correctly?

It sounds to me as if the injectors aren't opening at all.

First off you should check for trouble codes. Here is a link to info on how to do this: https://dodgeforum.com/tm.asp?m=32286

Finally got around to pulling the rail out on Friday, only 1 of the 4 injectors were spraying fuel, I'll take care of this on Monday!

I believe that Accel has fuel injectors for your car.

I think I'll check accel out, the local salvage yard had a lebaron turbo there that was running, we pulled the injectors out of it, the rail was different, we were hoping for a swap all togethor, but it was different. The injectors were different as well. They were longer where they slide into the fuel rail and couldn't be locked on using either clip. I'm still looking around for some though. These cars are so easy to work on when you actually get into them. Also got me a manual with all the goodies from AutoZone for like $15...... Thanks

Don't mix TI injector with TII injectors. The TII injectors flow more fuel to support the extra boost of the Intercooled motor.

Troy, thanks dude, not bad pricing on his stuff as well. If I go with the 803 injectors which is a small upgrade, do you think the factory fuel pump will be ok, or would you step it up?

FWD Performance may recommend that you should upgrade to the Walbro/Holley 190 l/hr or 255 l/hr Fuel pump, although the stock unit can handle the 803's as well. Just keep an eye on you fuel pressure and egt gauge.
