Default Ram 4.7 hesitation/studder while accelerating..HELP!

I have a 2013 ram 4.7 and when I take off it has good throttle response but then it kinda drops off. It will accelerate but while doing so it'll hesitate or shudder then take off hard again. When putting it to the floor it does bad. It's almost as if it hits a wall then all the sudden it'll come alive and pull hard then hit another wall. It does not do it nearly as bad if I take off right after starting in the morning..also it will puff white smoke for a split secind occasionally on starts but not always and i havent lost and antifreeze or fluids..need some help!

Are you open to bringing it to a certified dealer for diagnosis? - Kevin T, Social Connect Team

50k miles..I bought it when it had 30k and didn't notice any of this until a few months after I got it and I don't wanna take it to a dealer and them try to rape me..people have told me they think it's an o2 sensor or an egr valve..I thought it was a head gasket but I haven't lost any fluids at all.

Why only the top? What is the recommended replacement interval for all plugs? What plugs did you use?

Anyone have any suggestions? I feel like it's an o2 sensor..egr valve or possibly a bottom plug but what the the odds be of the plug going out at 50k miles? And could any of these things cause the smoke?

Sorry, no suggestion. My 2009 4.7 has a similar problem. It idles and normally runs perfect; but sometimes after about 20 miles... when I take off from a complete stop... it is as if the engine does not know how to breath. There is little power and when you step on it; sometimes there is popping from the manifold and a lot of smoke...then the truck starts breathing right again. I also see smoke for a couple of seconds on startup--then it is fine. I am not burning oil or losing coolant. I have new plugs (upper and lower that were installed at a dealership). I have 2 new cats and 4 new O2 sensors. This did not fix the problem. The truck is throwing no codes. I have absolutely no clue what the problem is--and am skeptical about taking the truck in to the dealer. Like you--I am looking for answers. It as if something is being purged.
