Default Text Size

My text size on this website is very small. So small it gives me a headache actually. This is adifferentcomputer and i'm having trouble getting the text bigger. I can adjust the text size in control panel and the text on every other website will become bigger, but for some reason it stays small on DF. Any ideas?

Microsoft has a special typeface font called
"Verdana"
that they claim makes small type on computers more readable
and reduces eyestrain & headaches.
It is worth trying switching to Verdana, as you can always switch back.

Another very similar font for plain text is "Lucida Console"

Both fonts are usually on Windows computers already.

I normally use FireFox 2.0.0.6
Here the commands to work through are:
Tools...
Options....
Content....
the section for fonts and colors is in the middle of the Contents page
I have my font size set on 16 (12 is the default I think)

On Internet Explorer 7
here the commands to work through are:
Tools (over on far right at top)
Internet Options....
General Tab (first one)
on the General page the Fonts button is down near the bottom of the page.
Click the Fonts button and a small menu will pop up.
In addition to the font selection there is a little blue type message here about how to 'force' webpages to use the type size you want, which involves going to the Accessibility button on the General tab.
