Default TCP connection help needed.

how do I setup a port on a remote pc to be a listener? I can do it thru my s/w however I need to try to establish a connection w/o loading any of my stuff on an embedded system. any help would be greatly appreciated...

maybe I should expand on this some...


I need to connect to a test sytem and be able to execute script files that reside on it's hard drive. again w/o loading any of my s/w onto it. I will also need to read back the output files off that system to examine the test results...

What OS is this test system running? You said embedded system, are we talking PDA embedded type system? Does that System allow for SSH? PM Me mebe I can help ya figure it out.. :-)

yup, old post problem solved... (on a different piece of test equipment... the one I will use is out for repair)... thanks though much appreciated.
