Search Not Showing Any Results
The "Search" feature returns the dreaded "No results found..." message on any terms used. I was looking for previous posts about Durango sunroof leaks that I found yesterday using the Search function, but they don't come up today. I tried really simple search terms, like "leak" and "sunroof" with no luck.
From another vBulletin board I frequent, we learned this usually required a reindexing of the databsae...

The last time this happened, it took a couple weeks to sort out. give the Tech guys some time. this issue is occurring on more than just DF.
In the mean time, here is a work around.
Go to google in a separate tab or window. (or in the same window, either way is fine.)
in the search bar... search term: section URL
For the search term, use whatever you are searching for. IE lift kit
For the section URL, use the specific URL from the section you want to search. I will make an example search query.
Lift kit:https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-dakota-68/
Make sure to put the colon ( : ) between the term and URL.
Pardon the harsh tone of the following link, but this is the easiest way for me to show exactly what to do. This is not a jab at anyone, simply a way for me to demonstrate. Please take no offense to this link, I am not insulting your ability to use google.

After you click search or hit enter, the first result will be from dodgeforum. click the blue link under the first result "More results from Dodgeforum.com" to see all posts with the search term in them. Keep in mind, google crawls every post on the site, so a lot of useless posts will be displayed. At this time however, this is the only workaround I can think of, other than manually going through every page of a specific section and looking for the information yourself.

I frequent another board that uses the same vBulletin software, and it occasionally has the same problem.
Their SysAdmin re-indexes the site's database, and the search function works again. Not sure if this is the same fix for DF, but it sure helps with the other board.
