To keep Dodgeforum.com hopping... we need member support (DUH!)... So... if you have the time, fill this out and maybe Ralph can make some good use out of it...</P>

Be honest on this...</P>

1. What is your favorite thing about Dogeforum.com?</P>

2. What is your least favorite thing about Dodgeforum.com?</P>

3. If you could have something (practical) added to Dodgeforum.com, what would it be?</P>

4. What should Dodgeforum.com expand on?</P>

5. Any other suggestions?! Let us hear them!</P>

Thanks in advance for the time you spent filling this out... </P>

My only complaint is the site is too slow most times. I'm on dial-up and this is the slowest forum I have seen. When I click to read a thread, it just sits there for what seems like an awful long time. The first post in the thread will be there, and its still loading any responces. If you try to scroll down, the screen will get all screwy until it finishes loading the complete page, then it corrects itself.</P>

FYI:</P>

It took 78 sec's from the time I submitted the above until the time I could read it. I dont have this problem on the other forums I visit.</P>

That's bizarre.. I've never encountered a problem... we'll get on it. Thanks for the heads up.

What might help is drop the vendors, decal and top posters from the actual threads. Just from the thread's itself, its not really needed there. We see them when we enter the main page, and again for each forum area we enter.THEN again in each topic thread. This will help a little.</P>

Edit: Tooke 91 sec's for this responce to load. Took another 31 sec's to load the edit box, so I could edit this in.</P><edited><editID>JimRoss</editID><editDate>37991.4879166667</editDate></edited>

I did a quick test on the other forums I visit, to give you an idea of my normal load time on this dialup ISP. These times are opening a topic thread, which is what seems so slow here.</P>

www.rv.net 5 sec/6 posts....7 sec/21 posts</P>

www.michiganjeepers.com 3sec/4 posts....7sec/33posts</P>

http://www.popphoto.com/idealbb/ 6sec/3 posts....19sec/19 posts</P>

My own forum site is on a very cheap server ( $30 a year ), so I get slow load times once in a while. But this is something I expect, you dont get the best when you pay less. Still, it's not as slow as here:</P>

www.shadowcruiserforum.com 5sec/13posts....8secs/21 posts</P>

Also, on the other forums, I can scroll down to read posts while it is still loading. If I do that here I get this:</P>

</P>

Please dont think I'm trying to rag on your forums. I'm just trying to help out here. I know from experience if a site loads to slow people will not visit as much, and there is alot of us still on the slow Dial-up. If you need anything from me just ask, I'm more than happy to help.</P>
