Hi
I've often noticed that when i start a topic or reply to one, that the forum will attach links to words in my post. The are usually links to vender's that i did not recommend.
Is there any way to turn off or stop these unapproved content hijacking, automated links?
Thank You.

Yes i have noticed it in some other forms
With the exception of older more secure forums.
and linux forums.
After researching a bit it seems to be a feature called Adchoices "InfoLinks"
Apparently some forums have it enabled for profit reasons.
I do not see it using firefox. because i have stricter adblocking enabled

It is a feature that apparently I cannot disable from my end in chrome without using an adblocker.
. as it is one of the ways Google Chrome and various Forums make money.
It is a little bit frustrating that the form would allow these post advertising hijackers to function.
I have to apparently go in and add my own links just to prevent the Adchoice from making a link to something i dont recommend.

Use your adblocker. Ublock Origin is actually quite good. and most of the actual ads on this site, are coded in, for our sponsors.
