Default Site Seems Confusing to Follow Threads/Replies I post

When I post to this form and start a new thread, how does a sort the order of post replies?
I seem to have a lot of repeating when I read through my posts with the answers and then I'm having a hard time trying to follow what post I originally did versus someone quoting my post etc etc. when I post to this form and start a new thread, how does it sort the order of posts / replies? I especially have a problem when someone answers a new answer that is a very short answer. It seems to get lost on the screen because it's busy with everything being the same color black and white.

I love the Forum it's great just a little hard to follow new replies to your threads.

You can set the sort order in your control panel. Edit options. Also, install an a blocker.

When you come to the forums, there is a button at the top of the page for "new posts". All the new posts will be listed and if you posted in one, it will have a green check mark next to it. This will let you see new posts and also any replies to one you posted in. If there hasn't been any activity, it won't show up.

No, you should be able to see it right away.

I suspect it's part of our anti-spam measures. How the site determines which posts to simply show, and which to hold for moderator approval is a mystery to me. Generally, if you have a hidden post, and it gets approved, you are good to go. Are you still having issues? I know I approved at least one of your posts.

Then the timing chain fell off the cam sprocket in the 4.7L and just now getting it running after installing a new one. Hopefully I'll start the new thread properly - I think I've got it now, and i need some help with the truck now. thanks for the help, i really appreciate you taking the time to advise me. Be sure to let me know how i do with the new one.. lol!
