Dell XPS 1210 laptop. While the monitor seemed a little small at first the thing os so small and light you literally can take it anywhere and the 6 hour battery rocks.

Well I usually build my own rigs but a laptop was just far more practical for school so I have a Toshiba Qosmio F25 (Upgraded ram to 2GB and HD to a 7200rpm 100GB Hitachi). I did just build a pretty nice unit for a friend, wouldn't have minded keeping it for myself:
