Default Seat covers for Journey

Does anyone know where I could find good seat covers for my Dodge Journey (both the second and third rows, if possible)? I called my dealership, but they said Chrysler doesn't offer seat covers for the Journey. The person I spoke to said they could put a leather covering on the seats, but that would cost $2,000. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Keith

Um, I think the Journey have Side Air Bags in the seat, not sure how safe it is if you put seat cover on them in case of an accident.

Leather Seat is a great option, Katzkin Leather seat are very high quality.

Why do you need seat cover? maybe just invest in a small steam cleaner instead.

Really? I didn't know seat covers would affect the side air bags in the event of an accident.

The leather is a good option, but the dealer is charging $2000. If I can find a place that will do it for less, then that will be an option I will consider.

The reason I want a seat cover is because we take our dog to the dog park every week and sometimes she can get quite dirty playing with the other dogs and I want to protect the seats. I will look at the steam cleaner, thanks.

Well, if you look at those IIHS crash test video, and look at how the seat air bag deploy, and imagine the rest with seat cover on. But then again, I never seen it happen in person, so can't tell you if it is safe or not.

if you have Dogs, definitely consider leather seat as a better option, getting dog hair off seat fabric are the worse type of cleaning. Around my Area, general Upholstery shop would do it for like $1,500 ish.

Stores such as Pet Smart sell special covers for cars that
fit on your seats to protect them from pet hair and claw
marks.
You could simply buy a throw blanket of your choice and
use it,easy to shake off/wash and cheap.

Buy a rear cargo mat and train/restrain the dog to the
very rear where it belongs, much safer overall.

I got mine off ebay. They are seat airbag friendly. Not a bad price either. Had to do something. Spilling water leaves a stain that dopes not come out. Don't know what kind of cheap fabric chrysler used in these cars...lol

Thanks, everyone. I will definitely try ebay, jkeaton, thanks. What colour is the fabric in your Journey? One of the places I used to work at had a 2010 Caravan with a beige interior, and same thing happened, even water would leave a stain. I really hope Chrysler scraps this fabric, if they haven't done so already.

Ours is grey. I have never seen fabric stain like these seats do.
